Seems its on mobile 965 chipset, so it should take faster ram 800mhz hence the orig.667 and twice the official amount limit that is 4GB so actually 8GB by 2x4GB in 64bit-
Have in mind i haven't tested it myself, ewen thow i got an DV9500 Intel. (in that there is some old 2x2GB Geil 667 ram and1 SSD)

But its a damn shame that 4GB ram-blocks is very pricey and +50US pr blok. (a shame when you have in mind how cheap serverram are for desktops in close to same specs. (Looking to suit my old macpro1.1 up with more ram and 1x4GB PC2-5300 - 240 block cost 6US shipped, so 32GB is 48US).
